A new name. An established way of working.

ToyVessel is a new sourcing identity built on our existing toy manufacturing and trading business in Chenghai, Shantou. The name reflects a simple responsibility: carry a promising product idea through the practical decisions that make an order work. Product selection, sample feedback, packaging, order coordination and export preparation all belong in that conversation.

We work with buyers who need more than a catalogue link: importers developing a regional assortment, distributors balancing breadth with carton efficiency, retailers refreshing a seasonal range and online brands putting their own identity on a product. Each needs a different route through the same supply base.

Our roots run through Chenghai.

Our company story began in 2008 in Chenghai’s toy industry. In 2012, we formed a dedicated foreign trade team to serve international buyers, bringing product selection, supplier coordination and export preparation into a focused service. ToyVessel carries that experience into a more focused buying service for international trade customers.

That history shaped a practical understanding of toys: how a sample feels in the hand, why a small component change can affect an order, how packaging changes carton volume, and why a precise product brief saves work later. We bring those questions into the buying process early.

Why being close to the toy industry matters.

Chenghai brings design, mould making, injection moulding, electronic components, assembly, printing, packaging and trading into a connected manufacturing community. This depth helps buyers compare more than appearances. Two similar toys may use different motors, materials, battery arrangements, accessories or box formats. Local product knowledge helps make those differences visible.

For a buyer, the useful outcome is a shortlist that fits the channel: a giftable pack for a retailer, an explainable play feature for an e-commerce page, or a mix of categories with carton information a distributor can plan around. Access to products matters most when it leads to clearer choices.

What the region’s scale tells a buyer.

According to the Shantou municipal government’s March 2025 industry report, Chenghai offers broad coverage across baby products, construction toys, electronic toys and remote-control toys. The report describes integrated support for development, production and trade. That variety is why we organise this catalogue by play experience, while keeping the product-level packing details close at hand.

The same official report records RMB 10.24 billion in Chenghai toy exports, including new trade models, in 2024. This is regional industry context. It helps explain the ecosystem around our work; individual orders still depend on the chosen factory, exact specification and agreed schedule.

We turn variety into a buying plan.

We begin with the destination market, intended user, channel, retail price band, quantity and delivery window. From there, we can discuss an assortment, compare sample options and identify the details that belong in the quote. A product with attractive photography still needs the right function, pack format, instructions and commercial terms.

Our sourcing approach combines product selection with the unglamorous details buyers rely on: carton quantities, outer dimensions, gross and net weight, artwork versions and order references. For mixed assortments, those details also support a more realistic conversation about consolidation and shipping.

Private label should start with the right question.

Do you need your logo on a ready-made toy, a new retail box, an exclusive colour combination or a wider development project? These are different briefs. We discuss the scope before the promise: the relevant factory’s capabilities, sample stages, tooling if needed, ownership arrangements and the order quantities that make the project practical.

Our job is to help keep the product and the presentation aligned. The sample, artwork and written specification should tell the same story before a bulk order proceeds.

Trust is built in the details we can explain.

For quality preparation, the conversation starts with the exact item and the destination. We help coordinate the review of samples, available test documentation, packaging information and the inspection scope agreed for the order. A report for a different model or configuration is not a substitute for reviewing the selected product.

We also support the product information buyers need after sourcing: photography, feature details and packing information where available. Ask for the assets and documents relevant to your channel, and we will clarify availability as part of the project brief.

The course ahead.

Our ambition for ToyVessel is straightforward: make toy sourcing feel more considered. Keep the range interesting. Keep the quotation understandable. Make open questions visible while there is time to answer them. Give buyers a clearer next step, whether they are testing a small assortment or preparing a larger branded collection.

If that is how you like to work, share a few product references, your market and your intended quantities. We can start with the details that matter to your next order.
