SOURCING & CONSOLIDATION
One brief.
A better coordinated order.
For importers, distributors, retail buyers and e-commerce brands who need product choice with a practical plan behind it.
Define the brief
Destination, audience, retail price band, order quantity and launch date.
Build the shortlist
Compare relevant products, samples, functions and pack formats.
Agree the specification
Confirm artwork, quantities, documents, inspection scope and order terms.
Coordinate the shipment
Review packing details, carton data and the agreed dispatch arrangements.
Start with your route to market
A toy for a supermarket promotion is a different brief from a branded online product. Share the destination, buyer profile, price band, sales channel, quantity and launch window. Product references and examples of packaging you like help us narrow the search.
Compare the assortment, then the details
We help organise relevant options across our toy collections. Compare the play feature, dimensions, materials stated by the supplier, power requirements and accessory list. Then confirm the available colour mix, box type and master-carton data. This turns a broad product search into an itemised discussion.
Use samples to settle open questions
Agree which version you want to review and what you need to learn from the sample. Check operation, assembly, finish, sound or movement where applicable, and the experience of opening and using the product. Record approved details and changes before moving to the bulk specification.
Bring mixed orders together
For suitable projects, discuss sourcing across categories and consolidating goods into the agreed shipment. Minimum quantities and readiness dates are checked item by item. Carton size, weight and timing determine what can sensibly travel together.
Prepare the export handover
Confirm the shipping destination, trade terms, carton markings and documentation responsibilities. Ask for the packing information needed by your forwarder. The order schedule should distinguish sample approval, artwork approval, production, inspection and dispatch.
Send a brief that gets a useful answer
Include TV SKUs or reference photos; quantity per item; target market; packaging or private-label needs; expected dispatch date; and preferred shipping terms. If something is undecided, tell us. We can identify the next decision rather than build a quote on an assumption.
SOURCING QUESTIONS
Before we begin.
What should I send to get a sourcing quotation?+
Send the TV SKUs or reference photos, quantity per item, destination market, required packaging, target delivery date and preferred trade terms. A market note — retail channel, price band and age group — helps us shortlist accurately. If a detail is undecided, say so and we identify the next decision.
Can you source toys that are not in the online catalogue?+
Yes. Share reference pictures, a product brief or a target retail concept and we check the wider Chenghai supply base for matching factories. Availability, MOQ and customisation scope are then confirmed for the sourced item just like a catalogue product.
How does order consolidation work for mixed toys?+
Each line is confirmed for MOQ, readiness date, carton dimensions and gross weight. Goods are brought together against the agreed shipment plan so the full assortment can be dispatched together. Consolidation feasibility depends on timing and volume, not just category.
Can I visit the showroom and factories?+
Yes. Buyers can plan a visit to our Chenghai showroom to compare products across categories, and suitable factory visits can be arranged by appointment. Contact the team in advance with the product types and markets on your agenda.
Which shipping methods and trade terms are available?+
Sea freight is standard for bulk toy orders, with air and express used for samples or urgent small shipments. FOB-style terms can be quoted and other terms are discussed with your forwarder and destination; the quotation states the handover point and included services.
How long does the sourcing-to-shipment process take?+
It depends on sampling, any custom packaging, production quantity and transit time. These are separate milestones and are scheduled item by item. A realistic written timeline is provided once the assortment and scope are agreed.
