QUALITY & ORDER PREPARATION

Confidence starts
before production.

A clear specification, a reviewed sample and a defined inspection scope give an order a stronger starting point.

Know exactly what you are buying

Use the TV SKU to identify the item, then confirm the version. Review dimensions, included accessories, material information, battery or charging arrangements, box style and carton quantity. Keep the approved sample and order specification connected.

Review documents for the selected model

Request available test reports and supporting information for your destination market. Check the model reference, product photos, applicant, test date and the configuration covered. The document review should reflect the item you plan to order and any changes made for your brand.

Agree an inspection scope

Discuss appearance, basic functions, accessory count, assembly, packaging condition, quantity and carton marks. Confirm the inspection stage, acceptance criteria and who will inspect. Where a third-party inspection is needed, agree the arrangement and associated costs before dispatch.

Keep packaging part of the quality conversation

A working toy can still arrive with a damaged retail box or unclear instructions. Review the protection inside the pack, printing, labels, barcode placement and the master carton. Consider the handling route and how the product will be received by your customer.

Review the supporting company documents

Our company documentation includes laboratory, factory and audit references. Ask our team for the current documents relevant to your order. Product reports and company audits serve different purposes; the selected factory and model determine which materials apply.

QUALITY QUESTIONS

Standards, samples and inspection, answered

Which safety standards apply to toys in the US and EU?+

US requirements include applicable ASTM F963 provisions, CPSIA requirements and, for children’s products where required, third-party testing and a Children’s Product Certificate. In the EU, review applicable EN 71 standards, other relevant legislation, conformity documentation and CE marking. The new Toy Safety Regulation (EU) 2025/2509 generally applies from 1 August 2030, following the transition from Directive 2009/48/EC. Requirements must be checked for the exact product, age group, market and placing-on-market date.

Can I use my own third-party inspection company?+

Yes. The inspection stage, acceptance criteria and inspector can be agreed before dispatch, including a third-party agency nominated by the buyer. Associated costs and arrangements are confirmed as part of the order terms.

What is checked during an inspection?+

Typical scope covers appearance and finish, basic and claimed functions, accessory count, assembly, packaging condition and printing, quantity, barcode and carton marks. The detailed checklist and acceptance limits are agreed per order before production completes.

What happens if a batch fails the agreed inspection?+

The findings and affected quantity are reviewed against the written specification and acceptance criteria, and the corrective steps — rework, replacement or other agreed resolution — are decided before dispatch. Orders are not treated as closed until the agreed criteria are met.

How are approved samples and versions controlled?+

The approved sample, version reference, artwork, colour references and order specification are kept together so production has a single standard. Any change after approval is recorded and can affect price, timing or documentation.

Can we review your company audit documents?+

Yes. The document library includes a factory audit report and its photo record. These factory-level materials serve a different purpose from model-specific product reports. Confirm the named factory and the scope relevant to your order with our team.
